Slop Kill is a browser extension that hides posts you don't want to see on x.com (formerly Twitter). It is built so that your data stays in your browser.
Nothing. The developer of Slop Kill does not run any server, does not collect analytics, and never receives your data.
Using Chrome's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your own device, Slop Kill stores:
This data never leaves your device, except as described in the next section. Uninstalling the extension deletes it.
The AI filter is off by default. If you turn it on and enter your own Anthropic API key, the text of posts shown in your X feed is sent directly from your browser to Anthropic's API (api.anthropic.com) to decide whether each post should be hidden. Requests go straight from your browser to Anthropic using your own key; they do not pass through any server operated by Slop Kill. Anthropic's handling of that data is governed by Anthropic's own terms and privacy policy. When the AI filter is off, no data is sent anywhere.
